Environmental and social sustainability

Respect for the environment is a priority for us

We are committed to the sustainability of our company and, to this end, we focus on various aspects – including environmental, social and economic – with a view to minimising our impact on the environment, maximising our positive impact on society and achieving the highest possible profitability.

At our facilities, we have placed particular emphasis on environmental protection, and we operate an industrial waste treatment plant.

We are working to protect the environment by developing sustainability action plans with the aim of contributing to the achievement of the SDGs by 2030.

  • Solar Energy and Renewable Energy Plan to reduce CO₂ emissions.

  • 100% in-house recycling of plastic, paper and cardboard.

We work in partnership with IGUAL A TI, an association for people with disabilities.

We work with IGUAL A TI, an association for people with disabilities, at its centres in Logroño and Calahorra, to help people with intellectual disabilities integrate into society. They carry out simple tasks under the supervision of instructors.

It is very rewarding to give an opportunity to people who want to prove, day after day, that they can do things well.

Unicef

Just like UNICEF, we want children all over the world to be able to enjoy their childhood.

We want to help build a better world, and through the ‘Pymes Amigas’ programme we can help those most in need by playing our part in defending children’s rights. This is a collaborative programme for the defence of children’s rights that focuses on the most vulnerable. This programme enables us, alongside other co-funders, to contribute to UNICEF’s work in developing countries.

Being members of the Red Cross allows us to be closer to people, and gives us the opportunity to help make projects a reality that benefit the most disadvantaged groups. Driven by a desire to make a difference, we have chosen to join the world’s largest humanitarian organisation and, through them, to help provide support to vulnerable people.
